Defense layers graffiti #1

Cut from a fallen Douglas Fir log found in Vancouver, BC

Dried for 2 years and cut into smaller rounds. Use of paint, ink and protective seal. 

Layers of graffiti and etching into the wood to create a feeling of layers upon layers of graffiti. These pieces were created when Kristy was pulling back the layer's of self defence, from past trauma. 

This piece was created in Vancouver, B.C. where Kristy lived for 20 years before moving to Squamish, B.C.
